Hello everyone! After years of friends telling me to document my style and beauty, I caved in. My name is Nora. Nashville, Tn raised me. Berea College educated me.(Sociology) Being fashionable on a college budget is difficult, so I plan to showcase options that are budget friendly. A few of my other hobbies include singing, beauty-makeup, playing Sims 4,discussing social justice issues and traveling. 
I’m 5’2,21 years old, and a size 18/20. My journey to body appreciation and self love is difficult but rewarding. Gaining confidence, learning to see my own beauty, and basking in my own glory are parts of the journey that have re-shaped my self- esteem. 
Back in the day, Companies used to send old catalogs to showcase their plus size clothing. The styles were church like and old lady-ish. Thankfully, plus size fashion has transformed. We are no longer limited to oversize, unattractive pieces. We still have a long way to go. Size, shape and height discrimination are still problems with the plus size community. 

All of my life, I was told that I had a pretty face. Constantly I heard, your’re pretty for a big girl, but not your entire body is beautiful. I’ve been reminded that supposedly, Men don’t like big girls. Here’s my middle finger to the negativity.
