After a long week of work, I had the pleasure of going out with my friend Maribel and some of her friends from college. We dined at The Flying Saucer, which was a first time experience for me. Then we hit the downtown/ midtown area. My new favorite drink is the amaretto sour. Normally, when I go out, I usually stay in the general vicinity of 2nd ave. and 4th ave. Venturing out to unfamiliar parts of Nashville was definitely fun. I’ve been complaining about not meeting new people so it was nice to meet Maribel’s friends.
Because the rain and lowered temperature, I decided to wear a grey cove up that I got from Lane Bryant for $15. I paired it with a black midi skirt that I purchased at Forever 21 and a black tank from Lany Bryant that was purchased on sale. To add some pizzazz to my outfit, I wore a black and white statement necklace that was purchased from Lanr Bryant for $5. It was originally $30!
Hopefully, I’ll get to meet more cool people in te Nashville area! Coming home as a changed person to a changed, once familiar, now completely unfamiliar environment is hard. I’m trying to find my groove again. Re-adjusting has been hard. I don’t feel like my normal self anymore. Getting out, exploring, dancing, and meeting new people was medicinal. I will make myself get out more often! Outfit details will be posted below.
