Ava and Viv- Target

Hey everyone! My computer is out of commission so I have been limited with my posting capabilities. I have the app downloaded now so that I can maintain this space. Today, I stopped by Target to see what fab items I could find. I never have any second thoughts about expanding my wardrobe! Target’s underdeveloped and extremely lacking plus size options have been the center of conversation within the plus size community for quite some time now. A few months ago I tried on a few pieces and was underwhelmed. I knew that women who were bigger than me would have trouble fitting in to the sizes. The fits and cuts weren’t flattering. Shapeless and skin tight described the options. I tried the Ava and Viv line at my local target store and was saddened that some of the more attractive pieces weren’t in my store. Nashville and the surrounding areas are on the come up in regards to becoming a fashion hotspot. While we aren’t on New York or LA status, we should definitely receive a better stock. Scratch that. Everything that is offered online, should be in store as well. Most of the pieces that I did try made me feel like a grandma. I didn’t even do a review. I gave the line another chance. Surprisingly, I found pieces that I enjoyed!

The maxi dress was an absolute must have for me! I love be print and solid combination. The bagginess of the dress was cool, especially since summer is approaching. Wrap dresses are always complimentary. In a professional setting , I’d wear a tank under the dress to cover my cleavage. For date night, or a night on the town, the cleavage is eye catching but not overwhelming. Since I purchased a dress recently that had a similar pattern, I made the decision not to purchase the wrap dress. ( I’m wearing a 3x in both dresses)

What a fun print?? This print certainly  makes me want to lay out while drinking something fruity! (3x)

The moral of this story is to welcome second chances. I’m imperfect. God forgives me so much. People have given me second chances. Who am I not to give chances? Target was on the bullseye!
Let me know what you think if the pieces I showed you! What are your thoughts on the Ava and Viv line? How are you doing in general? It’s been a while since I’ve poste, let me know how life is going for you all!
Until next time,
