Free Falling

Today, I went to one of my favorite stores, Catos in the Rivergate Mall. There was an event going on for Hispanic Heritage Month. The music was fantastic. Today, My initial goal was to find work appropriate fall attire. Since most of the petite pants were in my size were out of stock, I just tried on pieces that caught my eye.
This is what I wore today. I keep it simple most of the time. Also, I have no shame when it comes to re-wearing pieces.

Top- Walmart: 22-24

Pants- Sears: 3x

Fringes are in! This vest reminded me of a skirt that Forever 21 has in stock. I’m wearing a size 26/28 due to my large arms and breasts. I could have downsized. I think this item was between $24 and $30 dollars.

This slate grey duster is everything! You know that I bought this! I’m wearing a 26/28.

This button down shirt was kind to my big bust and my flabby arms! The color is lovely for fall. I will buy it at some point because it can be dressed up with a cute skirt and booties, leather pants and heels,or dressed down with jeans and boots.

Yet again, i was shocked to find a shirt that was kind to both my breasts and arms.

Both shirts are in a 26/28 and cost $21.99.

Despite being in love with the color and design of this 22/24, $39.99 dress, my belly said no. Maybe a body shaper would have helped.

I like both the skirt (22/24)and shirt(26/28). A black blouse would have looked better with thus skirt.

This dress reminded me of scrapped cloth. It looked better on the mannequin. Do you all think I look like a reject from Kanye’s new Adidas line? I think that I do.

Dusters can dress up any look! Also, they can add a touch of comfort to any outfit. I can never have enough of them.

I liked this piece. The colors and pattern is nice. I can rock it at work with a white button down and black slacks or after hours with a black body con dress and heels.

Another customer complimented my persuasive skills. She was trying on an item that I thought looked great in her. She was going to out it back but I talked her out of it. She asked me if I worked there and I told her no. I could be a stylist for a while!
Afterwards, I headed over to Target to see what I could find.

I didn’t feel like trying on the entire Ava and Viv line but I did like these wrap dresses enough to try them. The top style, pattern and 2x size was more flattering than the latter 3x size.

Wrap dresses are important because they either enhance the curves you already have or create the illusion of cures for people who are less curvy. I’m pro wrap dresses! These dresses are $37.99z while I like the top one, I’m sure I can find something similar at Ross for less.
The last stop was Payless. Riding boots are such a fall/winter necessity.

I love for BOGO at Payless. Next week, I am coming for these boots! My particular favorite are the quilted light tan pair.

I’m so excited for fall weather! It’s such a cozy time of the year!
How do you like the pieces I tried on?
Are you all ready for fall? What fall fashion  trends are your favorite?
Can’t wait to hear from you!
Until next time,
