Cold Front

Hey everyone! Hope you all have enjoyed the weekend this far. As October continues, so do the decrease in the temperature. Leather jacket, fur vest and duster weather has arrived! Despite being a summer baby, I thoroughly enjoy fall/ winter style.

I’m always in the mood for expanding my wardrobe ( although my bank account desires the opposite of me). Since the morning and nights are cooler, I’ve been on the search for new jackets, coats, vests, and long sleeved shirts to wear. In particular, I need pieces that will tradition from work to play. As you know, Catos is currently my go to store. The prices are reasonable and the pieces are interesting. I headed there to find fab things to add to my already cluttered closet.
Here’s what I tried:

Size 22-24 $19.99

This was a 26/28 I think. It’s a high low type top. I belted it to accentuate my curves. I’ll rock it unbelted also. I’m a sucker for a bold print! I don’t remember how much it cost.

Grey is a hot color for the fall. This blouse was close to $30 so I left it. I might go back if it’s on sale. The draped look flattered my body. I really do like this blouse.

I’m wearing a 22-24 since the 26/28 was unavailable at the time. Since my breasts and arms are large, I always look for pieces that don’t looked stressed while covering my arms and breasts. I want to get a black one and a brown/ feathered one. Lane Bryant and Sears have nice vests available right now.

This camel color is awesome! It fits me better than the Ava and Viv jacket that I tried at Target. I’m exited about this piece. I believe that I’m wearing a 26/28.

Aztec/ Tribal prints are my thing! This piece can be dressed up and down. I can’t wait to wear it.

I felt like a rockstar and a queen while wearing this animal print coat. It’s everything!

I’m learning from autumn to let dead thing go. If something or someone doesn’t challenge me to grow, nor inspire me to be a better person I’m letting it/him/her go. Situations change. People’s time in your life ends. I’ve been through so much. I’m currently going through a lot. Forgive me if I complain more that I rejoice. I’m thankful for the opportunity to get through things. The person I am today is so much stronger than the girl I was a few years ago and even several months ago. At the beginning of the new year, I hope to join back on this year with satisfaction in my growth. Also, im excited about what the rest of the year holds. I’m a young woman, building an empire, trying to make the world a better place.
Let me know how you are prepping for the fall/ winter season!
What are you most proud of this year?
What are some of you areas of improvement?
I want to work on my response to negative situations. Also, I want to work on doing instead of trying to do. I need to be a woman of action. Also, I want to be more warm and inviting. I’ve been told that I have resting bitch face which causes me to come across as mean or intimidating. I want to share my fun, down to earth self. Essentially I want to step outside of the walls in which I’ve impriosned myself.
Until next time,
-Nora
