Hello 2016! Happy New Year Everyone! I hope you are doing well! My Drink On held a limo/party bus event to ring in the New Year. The party busses picked up at the Blackstone Restaurant and Brewery, making stops at both Slider House and Bar Louie. The night was pure fun! Erika, Kellye and I spent the evening drinking, eating, and dancing.
I wore the dress that I got from Forever 21, my necklace from Torrid and a jeweled bracelet. I paired the dress with black booties that I got from Payless.
My dear friend Jessica gave me this awesome flask for Christmas! It matched my fit so well!
Along the way, I made new friends.
I met a group of chic, fun, vibrant ladies earlier in the evening. Once I get the pictures that the photographer took, I’ll put them up.
Also, I met these girls at the meeting spot – Blackstone. They were so sweet!
We danced so much last night! I danced until I was drenched in sweat. The crowd had an inviting, unified vibe. We were all supportive, checking on inebriated individuals, making sure everyone had a dance partner, and helping each other keep track of our belongings. It was a great night!
I still need to make my vision board. I have goals that I want to accomplish.
I don’t want to wake up and be 60, and I satisfied with my life. I want to pinpoint what makes me happy, and do exactly that. It’s time to live for me. Change is necessary.
This year started out nicely! I can’t wait to see what 2016 will bring! Nina Simone said it best, It’s a new dawn, a new day, and I’m feeling good!
