Good evening everyone! Hope you all are doing well. Some of you are probably getting ready for a night on the town. Others are getting ready for church in the morning. Mac Cosmestics recently released a new line of matte glosses. You know that I live Mac ( but I love drug store brands as well). On Friday, I stopped my the Mac station at Macy’s I’m Rivergate to try on the new glosses.
There are 15 new fun shades that range from soft nudes to sultry purples. I felt like a kid in a candy store trying them on. These glosses cost 20 dollars a pop.
I’m not balling like that. I’ll have to buy them one or two at a time.

Seeing make up, specifically bold colors , on women of color is important! These hues were complimentary to my brown skin. The consistency of the gloss was nice and it stayed on long.
I used both Currant and Chestnut to line my lips.
If you have the money, I’d suggest investing in these glosses. They are on the expensive side. I’ll be in the look out for cheaper dupes.
I’m getting more comfortable rocking bold lip colors. Black is beautiful. My skin is lovely. I can’t be afraid of color.step outside of your comfort zone and try bold colors.
I want to master the nude lip look. Finding a nude shade that didn’t wash me out or make me look ashy has been quite the task! If you have any suggestions s, drop them in the comment section please!
