Red Haired Maven

Hey everyone! Long time no talk. I hope you all are doing well! Being without internet has been a plague! I have had the most difficult time posting and updating my social media! I’m still kicking in spite and despite the setbacks.  You know how much I enjoy trying new hair styles. Last weekend I went to a different hair store in my local area, Hair Republic. Typically, I frequent Hair World, but I visit this hair store when I’m tired of the other one. As you may recall, I felt BOLD a few months ago and rocked two brown- blonde wigs. Also, I’ve dared to dawn shades of deep burgundy. Celebrities like K. Michelle and Monica have been rocking gorgeous hues of vibrant reds recently and I could not deny my itch to try a vibrant red. One the flip side, Bobs have caught my attention. I hope to try a fun, feisty, frisky bob soon.
Here’s what I tried:
This banged bob is cute! Kinda bulky but definitely something that I could rock! In the past, I hide behind banged wigs in hopes of hiding my large, present forehead. Now, I am comfortable with my forehead. I’ve been rocking bang-less wigs and have felt beautiful while doing so.
The color attracted me to this wig but the style does nothing to enhance my face. It’s ok.  The other girls in the store really liked them.
Red Hot! I was not brave enough to boldly wear this wig. I think that the color doesn’t enhance my skin in any way.
You all have no idea how happy I am to see natural textured wigs. This wig looks like I did a blowout and straightened my own hair. Afro, kinky, nappy hair is beautiful! I’m still thinking about the crocheted wig from my earlier wig post.
Talk about a show stopper! You will turn heads in this wig! It’s gorgeous. I like the natural black roots that fade into the red. Some of the applicants at my job thought that I had a sew in! When you rock a wig correctly, people will not know if it’s weave or your own hair. I’m proud of myself for trying this color! Feeling hot,hot ,hot!
This black wig represents my classy, calm side. It’s romantic and flirty but still work appropriate. I got it in a 1b/30 just to continue to step outside of my comfort zone by rocking color. I feel royal while wearing this wig.
I bought a cute black and blonde wig but I forgot to take pictures in it. I’ll show it in another post once I wear it!

I’m officially feeling myself! I’ve worn this to work, to the club, and to the store and have recovered so many compliments on how well the color complimented me.

How do you like the wigs that I tried?
In what ways have you stepped outside of your confort zone?
I’ve stepped outside of my comfort zone in regards to my confidence and romantic life, but I’ll discuss that more in future posts.
Until next time,
