Happy Easter everyone! Hope you all are doing well. Friday, I had the day off from work. I decided to stop by Cato Fashions to see what pieces I could find. If you can’t tell already, Cato is my go to store. The clothing is stylish and the prices are affordable. As a young, working adult, I don’t have the cash flow to buy from Torrid and Lane all of the time. Quality and quantity are both important. Get the most deals while adding quality, durable pieces to my wardrobe.

Take a look at what I tried:

This sweater was on clearance for $15.99  I believe. I like the concept of the bold pattern with the vibrant color but I wish there was a bigger size. This fabric was clinging to tightly to my body for my liking.

This top was ok. The cut drew my attention but the fit was kind of bland.

Ehh…nope.

While I liked this, I didn’t like it enough to purchase it.

#bigbreastproblems The idea of the shirt is awesome. Maybe a 26/28 would have saved this piece for me but that soE was out of stock in store.

The shirt is cute but not a “must have” item. I liked the detailed cover up but I’m waiting for it to go on sale.

Yay to the color  and detailing. I’m waiting for the sale price on this as well.

I want a few denim shirts so terribly not not bad enough to pay $27.99 for this. I want quality denim.

I like this concept and the execution is  nice.

The bejeweled shoulder is fun and the grey color is always wardrobe friendly but I wants sold on the quality of the top. It screamed sweatshirt.

Neither of these items wowed me.

They’d probably look better on someone else.

This maxi split front dress made me cry. It’s gorgeous. I wanted it so badly but it’s too long. I hope to find it online in a petite size.

Same story with this hot 70s style jumpsuit. I fell in love. I felt so foxy!

I must be in a funky, groovy mood. I’m waiting until this dress goes on sale .

The only item that I purchased was this grey top which was on sale for $11.00.

Ootd:

Grey Shall- Cato, Jacket-Lane Bryant, Camo Pants- Walmart, Shirt- Kmart.

Mixing and matching bold prints with patterns is what I do best!
You have to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em, know when to walk away, and know when to run. This is true for shopping and in life. Walk away when you deem it necessary. Wait to see if better options or paths open. Trust your gut, your instincts, trust yourself. When it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t. Also, I realized that I need to learn how to sew. I could hem and take in or let out clothing when necessary if I knew how to sew.
Which pieces did you like the best?
Until next time,

  1. Hey, Nora! Even if a dress or something is too long I would still purchase it (I have this problem alllll the time, too). You can just wear a slight heel with it or get someone to hem/shorten them a little. Don't lose on great pieces that can be made to work somehow!
