Mask Fashion Ft. Clifton + Leopold

Hello August,

2020 is zipping by. While most days turn into weeks that form into months that seem to be never-ending, in reality, 2020 is more gone than she is here. Covid 19 has drastically changed the way that we work, fellowship and severely impacted how we live. The fashionista in me always finds light in the darkness and this light in these isolating times is what we all need. In the beginning of the corona craze, I will admit, I did not take this pandemic seriously. A mask was not going to destroy my good makeup. As the weeks passed, I quickly realized the severity of the situation.

Masks have practically disappeared! Amazon was out, stores were out. Citizens took matters into their own hands and began to make face masks in their homes. Feverishly, I scoured Instagram, searching for entrepreneurs who could ship masks to me quickly, as I was weeks into the quarantine and was using a bandana for protection. Who knew how fun it would be, dawning cute masks with fun prints and patterns? My collection of stylish masks is steadily expanding. In a weird way, the face masks add an air of mystery that I have grown to enjoy. Also, the masks have come to be a form of personal expression. You may laugh, but I pair my mask with my mood. I purchased a black leather mask from Love & Osker that fits my rebellious, loner mood. My leopard and snake prints are for my fun, fiesty moods. My army- camo print mask is typically worn on my chill days.

A few weeks ago, Clifton and Leopold sent me two masks to showcase to my audience. The links to the website and to the masks that I selected are below. The masks are constructed so nicely. They are thick but still breathable. I caught a lot of people staring at my mask while I was shopping at Walmart. Clifton and Leopold is a Nashville based clothing accessories company. They make the most dapper bowties, ties, scarves, handkerchiefs and now masks. I love that Clifton and Leopold is commited to merging the dapper style with diversity and community.

Visit the Clifton and Leopold website here. Be sure to like C+L on Facebook and Instagram.

Be sure to follow me on Youtube and Instagram to watch my review of the masks and to see the masks on my face!

Fermina is the colorful floral design. Golden is the elegant, royal design. Both masks retail at $18.00.

Please note, these masks are machine washable/dryable and can not be returned.

Comment below and let me know which style you like best! Also, drop a photo in the comments of your rocking your favorite mask 😷

Until next time,
